CMHA, Legal Clinic, and Borderland Pride survey Fort Frances mayoral candidates on social issues

Media Release

Housing affordability and homelessness, mental health, diversity and inclusion are some of the biggest challenges facing small communities in Northwestern Ontario.

That’s why the Canadian Mental Health Association (Fort Frances), the Northwest Community Legal Clinic, Borderland Pride are surveying mayoral candidates in the Town of Fort Frances on their views on these topics.

The candidates were issued a survey questionnaire on October 4 with instructions to return it completed by October 12. A copy of the questionnaire can be downloaded here.

While the organizations will not be endorsing any candidates, the questionnaire responses received will be published online and shared with each organization's contact lists in order to encourage participation in the municipal election.
